Nazareth College Athletics

Communication Sciences and Disorders major... daughter of Karen Tripp, Victor, N.Y... returning for her second season on the track and field team, Tripp finished eighth at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run in a personal-best time of (19:59.89)... other top times included 800-meter run (2:37.44), 1500-meter run (5:19.36), 3,000 (11:37.80), and in the mile (5:51.70)... competed for the cross country team in 2022 and had a personal-best time of 16:23.2 over 4k at the Hamilton Short Course... finished 18th at the Empire 8 Championships, finishing the 6k course in 24:28.5 to earn third-team all-conference honors. 

2020-21: competing in track and field for the first time, Tripp was the Golden Flyers' top first-year runner during the cross country team in the fall of 2021... placed 16th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Washington County Fairgrounds... had a season-best time of 24:17.4 to gain third-team all-conference honors... also placed 57th at the NCAA Niagara Regional race at Geneseo (25:31.6).

Scholastic: a graduate of Victor High School, Tripp competed there in cross country and track... earned team MVP honors in 2018 and Rookie of the Year in 2017... recipient of Coaches Choice Female Scholarship in 2020... helped track team to indoor and outdoor Section Five titles in 2021... earned Chemistry Achievement Award and Principal's Achievement Award.
