Daughter of Clark and Kerry Bendall, Syracuse, N.Y… returning for her fifth track and field season, Bendall competed regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2023-2024... during the winter season, Bendall set a PR in Pole Vault at the Golden Eagle Winter Welcome Back meet with a height of 3.05m (6th place)... earned a PR in the Pentathalon with a combined score of 2802 in 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump, and 800m at the Bomber Invitational, where she also PR'd in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.81... PR'd in the long jump at a distance of 4.85m at the Nazareth Conference Tune Up in February (20th place)... at the E8 Indoor Championship meet, she placed 2nd in the 4x400, 7th in Pole Vault, and 4th in the Pentathalon, where she PR'd in shot put with a distance of 9.55m (2nd)... in the Pentathalon she placed 1st in the 800, 2nd in shot put, 3rd in high jump, and 8th in long jump and 60m hurdles... in the spring season, Bendall PR'd in the 400 with a time of 1:01.68 in the Rochester Spring Twilight meet... at the E8 Outdoor Championships, she placed 3rd in the Heptathalon with a PR score of 3821, taking 1st in the 800, 2nd in javelin throw and the 200, third in shot put and high jump (PR height 1.45m), 5th in 100m hurdles (PR time 16.97), and 7th in long jump... PR'd in 400m hurdles at the Farley Inter Regional Extravaganza with a time of 1:07.45 (6th place)... at the AARTFC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Bendall took 10th in the Heptathalon, taking 3rd in javelin throw (PR distace 29.98m), fourth in the 200 and 800 (PR times of 27.09 and 2:30.98), 7th in shot put, 10th in high jump, and 16th in long jump and 100m hurdles... named to the Academic All-District team (3.50 GPA minimum) by the College Sports Communicators... Empire 8 Third-Team honoree for the Heptathlon... Empire 8 Second-Team Indoor honoree for 4x400 relay... was named to the President's List for Academic Excellence in both the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.
2022-23: Bendall excelled in multiple events in 2023 as the Golden Flyers captured their first-ever Empire 8 Conference titles both indoors and outdoors... placed fifth in the pentathlon during the indoor season (2,615), which featured personal-bests in the 60-meter hurdles (9.84) and the shot put (9.29 meters / 30 feet, 5.75 inches) as well as a first-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:33.73)... also finished fourth in the pole vault by clearing 2.90 meters (9 feet, 6.25 inches)... finished third in the heptathlon (3,395) during the outdoor season, thanks to first-place finishes in the 800m (2:33.99) and the javelin (26.87 meters / 88 feet, 2 inches)... earned first-team all-conference as part of the winning 4 x 400-meter relay team (4:07.57)... also fifth in the pole vault (9 feet, 2.25 inches) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:11.47)... represented the Golden Flyers in the heptathlon at the All-Atlantic Regional meet at Susquehanna and finished 12th with a personal-best score of 3,482... personal-best performances included the 800-meter run (2:31.92), the 200-meter dash (:27.44) and the 100-meter hurdles (:17.61)... a fixture on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA and higher) for the fall and spring semesters.
2021-22: Bendall competed regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2022 and had a pair of fifth-place finishes at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships -- the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.90) and the pole vault (2.60 meters / 8 feet, 6.25 inches)... part of the 4x400 relay team that finished second (4:05.54) at the Empire 8 Indoor Championships and earned second-team all-conference.
2020-21: Bendall competed for the Golden Flyers indoor and outdoor teams in 2021 and was a member of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that captured the E8 indoor title in 4:16.49... also cleared 2.60 meters (8 feet, 6 1/4 inches) in the pole vault and ran 1:03.01 for 400 meters... competed as a backup goalkeeper for the women's soccer team that captured the Empire 8 title in the fall of 2021.
Scholastic: a graduate of Westhill High School in Syracuse, Bendall excelled there in soccer and track… competed as a sprinter and hurdler for the indoor and outdoor track teams and earned first-team Onondaga League all-star honors in the 4 x 400-meter relay both indoors and outdoors and competed in state qualifier meet… helped team to two Section Three titles each indoors and outdoors... played three seasons of varsity soccer and was a first-team Onondaga League Liberty Conference all-star as a goalkeeper in 2019… helped team to three straight league titles and Section Three and state titles in 2017… played for the Arsenal Academy club team... a member of the Golden Flyers' soccer team.
