Biography
Psychology and Inclusive Childhood Education... daughter of Kim Hecht, East Granby, Conn... returning for her fourth season, Hecht played exclusively in doubles matches for the Golden Flyers in 2021-22 and had a 7-9 overall record, including a 6-0 mark in Empire 8 Conference matches... teamed with Gwen Burns to earn second-team E8 all-star honors.
2020-21: Hecht went 4-1 in singles and 4-2 in doubles matches during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... earned third team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors for singles and second team for doubles.
2019-20: Hecht won six doubles matches in 2019-20, including five against Empire 8 competition... earned second-team all-conference honors (along with Marissa Towers) for doubles.
Scholastic: a graduate of East Granby High School, Hecht played four seasons of varsity tennis there... named team MVP after representing school in the state tournament for doubles... helped team to 2019 district co-championship.
