Nazareth College Athletics

Occupational Therapy major with a minor in Psychology... daughter of Roger Morin and Josee Girard, Greenfield Center, N.Y... returning for her fourth cross country season, Morin was the Golden Flyers' top finisher at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Washington County Fairgrounds with a seventh-place finish and a personal-best 6k time of 23:18.4... earned first-team all-conference and was Nazareth's representative as E8 Sportswoman of the Year... placed 19th at the NCAA Niagara Regional race at Geneseo (24:04.5) to earn all-region honors... continued to excel during the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons in 2022... posted personal-best indoor times of 18:53.18 for 5,000 meters and 10:51.07 for 3,000 meters to finish third and fourth respectively in those races at the E8 Indoor meet... indoor season also featured personal-best run of 5:24.87 in the mile... placed fifth in the 10,000 meters (40:16.81) and seventh in the 5,000 meters (19:56.75) at the E8 Outdoor meet... represented Nazareth on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2020-21: Morin ran in both spring cross country races for the Golden Flyers and finished 11th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton on 4/9/21... 6-kilometer time of 20:25.2 was good for second-team all-conference honors as Nazareth finished as runner-up in the team competition... also finished eighth at St. John Fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational on 3/26/21 with a time of 16:44.4 for 4 kilometers... competed for the Golden Flyers track teams and placed third in the 10,000-meter run (40:10.41) at the E8 Outdoor meet at Fisher... also finished first in the 1,500-meter run at RIT on 4/19/21 with a personal-best outdoor time of 5:13.97... finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run at the E8 Indoor meet at Nazareth on 2/29/21 with a season-best time of 19:22.73... also had indoor times of 11:09.31 for 3,000 meters, 2:25.01 for 800 meters and 5:33.93 for the mile... represented Nazareth on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2019-20: Morin competed regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2019 and finished 26th at the Empire 8 Conference meet on 11/2/19 at St. John Fisher with a 6-kilometer time of 25:56.3... top 6k time of 24:12.3 came on 10/19/19 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble... competed during the indoor track season and finished fifth in the 5,000-meter race (19:22.73)... other times included 2:35.01 for 800 meters, 5:33.93 for the mile and 11:09.31 for 3,000 meters.

Scholastic: a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, Morin competed in cross country and track and field there... helped cross country team to Section Two and state team titles in 2018... finished 23rd at Section Two Class A championships and 66th at state meet... member of National Honor Society and recipient of Seal of Biliteracy... competed in Unified Bowling and Basketball.
