Nazareth College Athletics

Political Science major... son of Tracy Reimann, Mahopac, N.Y... returning for his third cross country season, Reimann ran well for the Golden Flyers in the fall of 2021, finishing ninth (26:38.0 for 8k) at the Empire 8 Conference meet as Nazareth won its second straight team title... named second-team all-conference... finished 57th at the NCAA Niagara Regional race at Geneseo (27:02.9)... performed well for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor track and field teams in 2022 as he set a school record in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:04.14 at Bucknell on 4/14/22... finished second in both the 5,000- and 10,000-meter races (behind teammate Nathan Bowers) at the Empire 8 Outdoor meet with times of 15:29.16 and 32:28.03 respectively... season included personal-bests in the 5,000 (15:28.34), the 1,500 (4:12.34) and the mile (4:43.97)... represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above... recipient of E8 Torchbearer Award for the indoor season, representing the highest GPA among conference meet competitors.

2020-21: Reimann excelled for the Golden Flyers during their pandemic-shortened spring season in 2021 with a fourth-place finish at the Empire 8 meet at Houghton on 4/9/21... 6-kilometer time of 19:28.2 earned him first-team all-conference honors... also finished fifth at St. John Fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational (20:45.0)... represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above... competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor track and field teams with top times that included 16:00.36 in the 5,000, 4:18.59 in the 1,500 outdoors and 4:45.24 in the mile indoors.

Scholastic: a graduate of Somers High School, Reimann was a member of the cross country and track and field teams... a two-time Westchester County League all-star in cross country and 2019 all-league performer in track and field... finished 21st at Section One Class B meet for cross country in 2019... helped track team to league titles in 2018 and 2019... recipient of Mary Ball Distinguished Athlete Award and Somers Tusker Booster Club Award... earned several civic awards and scholarships, including Somers Lions Club Community Service Scholarship, Somers Faculty Association Award and Knights of Columbus Award... an Eagle Scout Award winner.
