Business Administration major. . . son of Bob and Debbie Gringeri, Geneva, N.Y...returning for his fourth season, Gringeri played in 16 games for the Golden Flyers in 2010 and had one goal and two assists...also won 76 of 163 face-offs (.466)...won 10 of 14 face-offs in a 20-8 win over Elmira on 4/3/10 and 11 of 19 in a 14-10 win over St. John Fisher on 4/21/10...
2009: played in 15 games and contributed 12 points on seven goals and five assists...scored first career goal in a 14-12 win over Geneseo 3/7/09. . . had four points twice (on two goals and two assists) in games against Elmira and Stevens. . . scored twice in Empire 8 Conference playoff win at Ithaca 5/1/09. . . ranked third on the team with 47 ground balls. . . went 83 for 183 on face-offs (45.4 percent). . . went 15 for 23 against Stevens, 17 for 23 against Alfred and 10 for 17 against St. John Fisher in the Empire 8 Conference championship game. . .
2008: played in 12 games and had one assist. . . also took a team-high 154 face-offs and won 68 for a success rate of 44 percent. . . went 9 for 14 on draws vs. Western New England 3/20/08 and 8 for 11 at Keuka 4/22/08. . . also totaled 36 ground balls...
Scholastic: a graduate of Geneva High School, Gringeri played four years of varsity lacrosse. . .  earned an array of honors and was named Section Five Tournament MVP as a senior after earning all-tournament team honors as a junior . . . earned first-team Finger Lakes League all-star honors in 2007. . .     helped lacrosse team to two sectional championships and advanced team to state semifinals . . . also played five seasons of varsity hockey and earned second-team all-league honors.
