Business Management major... son of Andy and Millie Martinez, Laporte, Colorado... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Martinez played in all 11 games for the Golden Flyers in 2021 and contributed six goals and six assists with 25 ground balls... had a career-best four points (3g, 1a) with five ground balls against Keuka on 3/27/21... had three points (1g, 2a) in E8 playoff win over Alfred on 5/6/21... also scored at RIT on 3/10/21 and at St. John Fisher on 4/24/21... represented the Golden Flyers in the fall of 2021 on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 375 and above.

2020: Martinez played in all seven games in 2020 and contributed four goals and one assist with 10 ground balls... had a season-best three points (2g, 1a) in a 20-8 win at Brockport on 3/3/20... also scored in wins over Springield on 2/22/20 and DeSales on 3/10/20.

2019: Martinez appeared in all 18 games in 2019 and contributed six goals and three assists... also had 32 ground balls and six caused turnovers... won 8-of-11 face-offs... scored two goals each in wins over UMass-Boston on 3/12/19 and Elmira on 3/23/19.

Scholastic: a graduate of Rocky Mountain High School in Colorado, Martinez competed in wrestling and lacrosse there... named Northern Conference Player of the Year for lacrosse in 2018 and was a two-time first-team all-conference selection... also second-team all-state in '18... named second-team all-conference for wrestling and placed sixth at state meet.
