Nazareth College Athletics

Speech-Language Pathology graduate program... daughter of Pat and Jennifer Metzler, Collegeville, Pa... returns for her fifth season after playing and starting all 18 games as a senior … finished the season tied for second with 28 goals and second on the squad with 44 points (28 goals and 16 assists) … her 16 assists were also tied for second on the team … scored one game-winning goal and had 14 ground balls … had five goals and two assists for seven points in the 18-9 win over Hartwick … also had three goals in a game four times against Fredonia, Utica, Alfred and Keuka … earned IWLCA All-Academic honors (3.50 gpa or higher) … was an Empire 8 President’s List honoree (3.75 gpa or higher).

2022: appeared in all 18 games and making two starts in 2022 … finished the season with 10 goals and three assists for 13 points and grabbed 11 ground balls … had a season-high three goals and one assist in the 19-4 win over Alfred … also had two goals in the 20-3 victory over Keuka.

2021: Metzler played in seven games for the Golden Flyers in 2021 and contributed 11 goals and three assists with three ground balls... had a career-best seven points (5g, 2a) in 23-3 romp at Russell Sage on 4/10/21... had three goals in win at Keuka on 3/31/21.

2020: Metzler appeared in four games for the Golden Flyers in 2020 and scored twice -- against Simmons and Illinois Wesleyan during Nazareth's spring break.

Scholastic: a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, Metzler played two seasons of varsity lacrosse there... was an honorable mention selection to the Pioneer Athletic Conference all-star team for 2018... competed for 380 Lacrosse club team... father, Pat, played lacrosse for the Golden Flyers and was a two-time All-American and member of the 1992 national championship team.
