Nazareth College Athletics

Political Science major... son of Brent and Judy Suddaby, Syracuse, N.Y... returning for his fourth track and field season, Suddaby competed during the indoor and outdoor track seasons in 2021 and finished seventh in the 5,000 (16:24.43) and ninth in the 1,500 (4:24.64) at the Empire 8 outdoor meet... had personal-best times in the mile (4:34.24) and 3,000-meters (9:16.28) during the indoor season to finish third and fifth respectively at the E8 indoor meet... earned third-team Empire 8 all-conference honors in cross country for the fall of 2021 after placing 17th at the E8 meet with a personal-best time of 27:10.2 for 8 kilometers... helped Nazareth win its second straight E8 title... also helped Nazareth win its first-ever Empire 8 title in the spring with a 13th-place finish at Houghton on 4/9/21... 6k time of 20:03.0 was good was second-team all-conference honors.

2019-20: Suddaby competed during the 2020 indoor season and top performances included 4:39.59 in the mile, 9:17.52 in the 3,000-meter run and 2:14.54 in the 800-meter run... Suddaby displayed steady improvement during the 2019 cross country season as he ran regularly and finished 12th at the Empire 8 Conference meet 11/2/19 at St. John Fisher... 8-kilometer time of 27:37.9 earned him second-team all-conference honors... had a season-best 8k time of 27:34.1 to place 38th at Houghton's Highlander Invitational on 10/5/19... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2018-19: Suddaby finished 26th at the Empire 8 Conference meet with a time of 31:50.3 for 8 kilometers at Alfred... top 8k time was 28:12.4 at Rowan on 10/13/18... competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor track and field teams and finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run (15:43.87) at the Empire 8 outdoor meet in 2019... other top times included 4:18.14 in the 1,500-meter run outdoors and 4:49.18 in the mile run indoors.

Scholastic: a graduate of Westhill High School, Suddaby competed in cross country and track and field... helped team to Section Three cross country title in 2017 and competed at the state meet... competed in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs during the track season and helped team to seven sectional titles -- three outdoors and four indoors... recipient of senior Tri-Athlete award for competing in three sports over four seasons.
