Physical Therapy major... son of David and Lisa Brown of Marcellus, N.Y... returning for his fifth track and field season, Brown decided to exercise an extra season of eligibility brought forth from the COVID-19 pandemic... ran well during the track and field season, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the 10,000-meter run at the E8 outdoor meet with a personal-best time of 33:29.10 in the spring of 2021... other top outdoor times included 4:17.29 for 1,500 meters and 2:03.35 for 800-meters... placed fifth in the 5,000-meter run at the E8 indoor meet with a personal-best of 15:52.69... also had a top mile time of 4:41.65... completed his fifth cross country season in the fall of '21 and helped the Golden Flyers to their second straight Empire 8 Conference title by placing 18th at the E8 meet with a personal-best 8k time of 27:11.1... earned third-team all-conference honors... placed 63rd at the NCAA Niagara Regional race at Geneseo (27:19.7)... ran both cross country races for the Golden Flyers during their makeshift 2021 spring season and earned first-team Empire 8 all-star honors by placing seventh at the E8 meet at Houghton with a 6k time of 19:41.0, helping Nazareth to its first-ever E8 title... also finished fourth at St. John Fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational (20:45.0) on 3/26/21... named the 2020-21 Empire 8 Male Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year, based on a vote by the conference Faculty Athletic Representatives
2019-20: Brown competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor team in 2020... finished ninth in the 5,000-meter run (16:23.55) at the Empire 8 Conference meet... also went 4:42.67 in the mile, 9:26.59 in the 3,000-meter run, 2:48.24 in the 1,000-meter run and 2:11.44 in the 800-meter run... competed regularly for the cross country team in 2019 and finished 19th at the Empire 8 Conference meet 11/2/19 at St. John Fisher (28:16.1 for 8 kilometers) to earn second-team all-conference honors... ran a season-best 8k time of 27:32.4 at the Inter-Regional Rumble at Oberlin on 10/19/19... represented Nazareth on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and higher.
2018-19: Brown finished 21st at the Empire 8 Conference cross country meet at Alfred in 2018 with an 8-kilometer time of 31:34.3... also finished 140th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet at Rowan (28:46.9)... competed as a distance runner during the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons and finished sixth in the 10,000-meter run (34:46.65) at the E8 Outdoor meet in 2019 and posted a time of 4:22.20 in the 1,500-meter run... ran 16:34.56 in the 5,000-meter run during the indoor season... represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 President's List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.
2017-18: Brown ran regularly for the Golden Flyers' cross country team in 2017 and produced an 8-kilometer time of 28:52.6 at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regionals on 11/11/17... competed for the indoor and outdoor track and field teams and produced a time of 4:32.82 in the 1,500-meter run, 10:04.23 in the 3,000-meter run and 17:13.84 in the 5,000-meter run... named to the Empire 8 President's List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.
Scholastic: a graduate of Marcellus High School, Brown competed on the cross country and track and field squads for four seasons... helped cross country team to Onondaga League titles in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and Section Three titles in '15 and '16.
