Nursing major... daughter of Mike and Barbara Adams, Salem, N.H. . . returning for her fourth season, Adams performed well as a thrower for the Golden Flyers in 2008. . . earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors in the shot put during the outdoor season. . . also placed third in the hammer throw and sixth in the discus. . . placed third in the shot put at the E8 Indoor Championship and fourth in the weight throw. . . 2007: placed 28th in the weight throw (10.48 meters) at the Cornell Invitational during the indoor season and 17th at the UR Invitational in the hammer throw (28.67 meters) during the outdoor season... Scholastic: a graduate of Salem High School in New Hampshire, Adams competed as a thrower for the indoor and outdoor track and field teams... qualified for the New England indoor championships in 2004 while serving as team captain. . . made one state meet appearance for the outdoor team.
