Nazareth College Athletics

Masters of Social Work major... daughter of Sean Murphy and Sarah Courtwright, Clay, N.Y... returning for her third season, Murphy played regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2019-20 and earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors in both singles and doubles... went 5-1 at second singles in E8 matches and 5-1 at first doubles (with Maelah Nadeau).

2018-19: Murphy played regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19 and earned Empire 8 Conference honorable mention honors after posting an 11-8 overall singles record with 5-1 mark in conference play... also recorded seven doubles wins at the No. 1 position with partner Erin Schantz, including a 3-3 record in Empire 8 play. 

Scholastic: a 2016 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, Murphy is a transfer to Nazareth from Onondaga Community College, where she played in 2017... playing mostly first doubles, Murphy helped OCC to Region III title and fifth-place finish in the NJCAA Tournament... two-time scholastic team MVP and helped team to Central New York Cities League titles in 2012 and 2014.
