Nazareth College Athletics

Biomedical Sciences major... son of Mark and Kim Celecki, Barneveld, N.Y... returning for his fourth track and field season, Celecki ran well during the indoor track season in 2020 as he placed fifth in the mile (4:35.58) at the E8 Conference meet on 2/28/20... also had personal-best times in the 3,000-meter run (9:16.83), the 1,000-meter run (2:44.60) and the 800-meter run (2:05.19)... a fixture in the Golden Flyers' cross country lineup, Celecki most recently competed in 2019 and finished sixth at the 2019 Empire 8 Conference meet at St. John Fisher with an 8-kilometer time of 27:09.3 to earn first-team all-conference honors for the second year in a row... posted a time of 27:17.7 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet at St. Lawrence on 11/16/19 to finish in 117th place... top 8k time of 26:59.5 was good for 27th place at Houghton's Highlander Invitational on 10/5/19.

2018-19: Celecki was the Golden Flyers' top cross country distance runner in 2018 with a fourth-place finish at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Alfred with an 8-kilometer time of 30:36.5... earned first-team E8 all-star honors... also finished 130th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet at Rowan (28:40.5)... competed as a distance runner for the Golden Flyers during the indoor track and field season in 2019 and finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run at the E8 indoor meet with a personal-best time of 16:04.46... also ran 9:21.56 in the 3,000-meter run at Utica Pioneer Open... missed the outdoor season due to injury.

2017-18: Celecki was the Golden Flyers' top cross country finisher at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 2017, placing 16th with a time of 28:50.5 for 8 kilometers... earned second-team E8 Conference all-star honors... finished in 132nd place at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet at Houghton with a career-best time of 26:54 for 8 kilometers... competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor track and field teams and had top times of 4:30.83 in the 1,500-meter run, 9:26.90 in the 3,000-meter run and 10:22.77 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
 
Scholastic: a graduate of Holland Patent High School, Celecki was a five-year member of cross country team there... helped team win state title in 2013 and competed in the state meet as an individual in 2015 and 2016... also a member of the swimming and track teams.
