Biology major. . . born 05/03/88. . . daughter of Jeff and Linda Merrell, Fairport, N.Y. . . a graduate of Fairport High School, Merrell attended Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania for one semester in 2006. . . played golf scholastically for four seasons and reached the state tournament in 2005.
