Inclusive Childhood Education major …... daughter of Kevin and Kim Heffler, Youngstown, N.Y… team captain... returning for her fourth season, Heffler competed at a high level for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18 and was the recipient of the team's Hardest Worker Award for the second year in a row... specializing as a breaststroker, Heffler excelled in several events at the Empire 8 Conference meet, including four relays... placed first in the 200 medley relay (1:49.26), second in both the 200 free relay (1:38.57) and the 400 medley relay (3:59.36) and third in the 400 free relay (3:40.12)... continued to lower her times in the two breaststroke events, finishing second in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.75) and third in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.60) and sixth in the 200 IM (2:16.61)... represented Nazareth as Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year.

2016-17: Heffler swam well for the Golden Flyers in 2016-17 as she reached the finals in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events at the UNYS/Empire 8 Conference meet... finished eighth in both with times of 1:08.56 and 2:29.08 respectively... also lowered time in 200 IM to 2:17.06... also finished eighth in the 200 free relay (1:40.83), the 200 medley relay (1:51.67) and the 400 medley relay (4:06.79)... recipient of the team's Hardest Worker Award.

2015-16: Heffler swam well for the Golden Flyers as she placed 15th in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes in the UNYS/Empire 8 Conference meet with times of 1:09.32 and 2:32.10 respectively... also swam 2:21.97 in the 200 IM.

Scholastic: a graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School, Heffler was the Niagara Gazette Swimmer of the Year in 2014 … Lewiston-Porter school record holder in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:10.95) … first-team Niagara Frontier League all-star after winning league titles in the 100 breaststroke and 200 medley relay...  also a Scholar athlete 2012-2014.
