Biology major... born 7/28/95... son of Obaida and Sabir Omar, Rochester, N.Y... returning for his fourth track and field season, Nadeem delivered career-best throws in the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season and the hammer throw for outdoor ... tossed 10.86 meters (35 feet, 7 2/4 inches at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational on 2/6/16 ... tossed 11.48 meters (37 feet, 8 inches) at the Highlander Invitational on 1/22/16 ... threw 35.80 meters (117 feet, 5 inches) during the outdoor season in the hammer throw at the Nazareth/Roc City meet on 4/11/16). 

2015: Omar produced a season-best throw of 33.00 meters (108 feet, 3 inches) in the hammer throw and career-best of 30.51 meters (100 feet, 1 inch) in the discus last spring... also reached 10.73 meters (35 feet, 2 1/2 inches) in the shot put and 10.79 meters (35 feet, 5 inches) in the weight throw during the indoor season.

2014: posted an outdoor personal best in the shot put with a throw of 9.95 meters (32 feet, 7 3/4 inches)... top indoor performances were 9.18 meters (30 feet, 1 1/2 inches) in the shot put and 9.39 meters (30 feet, 9 3/4 inches) in the weight throw.

Scholastic: a graduate of Brighton High School, Omar played football there.
