Physical Therapy and Psychology major... son of Reggie and Jennifer McDonald, Potsdam, N.Y... team captain... returning for his fourth season, McDonald played in all 28 games for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19 and ranked fifth on the team in scoring with 15 points on nine goals and six assists... five goals came via the power play... also had seven minor penalties for 14 minutes... scored twice each in wins over Bryn Athyn on 10/27/18 and at Chatham on 2/9/19... had a pair of assists in 5-2 win over King's on 2/16/19... scored against Wilkes in a 5-2 playoff win on 2/19/19... had an assist in a 3-2 playoff loss at Utica on 2/24/19... named to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's All-Academic team for players with GPAs of 3.20 or higher.

2017-18: McDonald played in 24 games for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18 and contributed 14 points on eight goals and six assists... had two-point games at Chatham (2 assists) on 11/17/17, at King's (1g, 1a) on 12/1/17 and at home vs. King's (1g, 1a) on 2/17/18... also scored against Cortland on 10/27/17, at Manhattanville on 12/2/17, at Utica on 1/20/18, against Chatham on 2/4/18, at Neumann on 2/9/18 and at Stevenson on 2/10/18... closed season with goals in four of the last five games... also had four minor penalties for eight minutes... named to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's all-Academic team for student-athletes with a GPA of 3.20 or greater.

2016-17: McDonald played in 25 games in 2016-17 and contributed two goals and four assists... also had nine minor penalties for 18 minutes... first career goal came in Nazareth's 4-2 home-ice win over Utica on 1/20/17... also scored a short-handed empty-net goal against the Pioneers at Utica on 2/17/17 as Nazareth won 4-1.

Before Nazareth: a 2014 graduate of Northwood Prep School in Lake Placid, McDonald also attended Potsdam Central and has competed in hockey, soccer, lacrosse and golf at the scholastic level... spent two seasons with the Vermont Lumberjacks of the Eastern Hockey League and had 20 goals and 32 assists in 76 games with 53 penalty minutes... recipient of Nazareth Presidential Scholarship.
