Speech Pathology major … born 5/12/95 … daughter of Mark Sansone, Rochester, N.Y… returning for her second season with the Golden Flyers, Sansone overcame a series of injuries to appear in eight games in 2016, including three as a starter… scored her lone goal of the season in the team’s 3-0 season-opening win over Allegheny on 9/2/16.
Before Nazareth: a transfer to Nazareth from Monroe Community College, Sansone played two seasons for the Tribunes as a midfielder and produced five goals and eight assists in 24 games… a 2013 graduate of Aquinas Institute, Sansone was a standout player there… earned first-team all-Greater Rochester and fourth-team all-state as a senior in 2012… also a two-time first-team all-star in the Private-Parochial League.
