Finance major … son of Eric and Lynn Farnung, Rochester, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Farnung appeared in all 30 matches and 105 sets overall in 2018... produced 123 assists, 20 service aces and 47 digs... amassed a career-best 37 assists (plus 10 digs) in a three-set sweep of Lasell on 2/17/18 and totaled 35 assists (with four service aces) in three sets vs. D'Youville on 3/3/18... named to UVC Academic List (3.30 GPA or higher) for the second time.

2017: Farnung played in 32 matches and 110 sets in 2017... led the team with 46 service aces (0.42 per set) and finished second with 133 assists... had a season-best 30 assists in a three-set win over Elms on 1/21/17 and 26 assists and a career-best six aces vs. Southern Vermont on 2/10/17... named to United Volleyball Conference All-Academic team (3.30 GPA or higher).

2016: played in 24 matches and 52 sets in 2016… ranked second on the team with 55 assists to go with 12 service aces and 13 digs… had 17 assists in two sets against Wells on 2/26/16 and 14 assists in three sets vs. Sage on 1/23/16… had five service aces vs. Hilbert on 2/5/16.

Scholastic: a graduate of Eastridge High School, Farnung played five seasons of varsity volleyball and helped team to Section Five title in 2014… named Section Five tournament MVP and was All-Greater Rochester selection … also a member of the swimming, indoor track, and baseball teams … earned Monroe County League all-star honors in baseball... competed for the Pace Bootlegger club team… recipient of a Nazareth Presidential Scholarship.
