Political Science major... born 3/11/94... son of Jerry and Sue Hieb, Zion, Ill... returning for his fourth season, Hieb appeared in 33 matches for a total of 96 sets as a junior ... registered 162 kills, 59 blocks, 42 digs, 13 service aces and four assists ... finished with a career-high 11 kills against New York University on 3/28/15... recorded a career-best six blocks against New Paltz on 4/10/15.

2014: Hieb appeared in 17 matches in played in 31 sets as a sophomore … registered 31 kills, eight digs, eight blocks, and three assists … finished with a season-high seven kills against Carthage on 3/16/14.
 
2013: Hieb played in 19 matches and 35 sets in 2013… totaled 50 kills with a .295 hitting percentage and 20 blocks… hit .462 (7-1-13) with a season-best seven kills in a three-set sweep of Emmanuel on 2/23/13… had five blocks against Johnson & Wales on 3/30/13.
 
Scholastic: a graduate of Zion-Benton High School in Illinois, Hieb played three seasons of varsity volleyball there... was a two-time first-team all-star selection in the North Suburban Conference as well as two-time team MVP... set a school record with 22 kills in a match and helped team to a school-record of 29 wins in 2012... helped team to regional title.
