Communication Sciences and Disorders major… born 05/06/94… daughter of David and Karen Muzio, Latham, N.Y… returning for her fourth season, Muzio was named as a second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star in 2014 after she started all 19 of Nazareth’s games and finished second on the team in scoring with 14 points on three goals and a team-high eight assists… had a goal and an assist in the Golden Flyers’ wins over Ohio Wesleyan (9/7/14) and at Houghton (9/13/14)… also scored Nazareth’s lone goal against Washington & Jefferson (9/21/14)… recorded two assists against Elmira (9/24/14) and had additional assists against Brockport (8/30/14), Rochester (9/3/14), Morrisville (9/14/14) and St. Lawrence (10/18/14)... named to the National Academic Squad (3.30 GPA or higher) for the third year in a row by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association... competed for the Golden Flyers' outdoor track and field team last spring.

2013: started all 18 games and led the Golden Flyers in scoring with 15 points on five goals and five assists… scored goals against Rochester (9/4/13), Morrisville (9/15/13), Elmira (9/21/13), Cortland (10/1/13) and Stevens (10/20/13)… had a pair of assists in a 4-2 loss against St. Lawrence on 10/18/13… named to the National Academic Squad by the NFHCA.

2012: played in all 17 games, including five as a starter… finished with four goals and one assist… Muzio made an immediate impact with the assist on Nazareth’s first goal of the season against Kenyon (9/2/12), then she scored the game-winning goal in overtime…, scored Nazareth’s lone goal against Washington and Jefferson (9/8/12)… also scored in the Golden Flyers’ victories over Morrisville (10/5/12) and Wells (10/6/12)… named to the National Academic Squad by the NFCHA.

Scholastic: a graduate of Shaker High School, Muzio competed in field hockey and gymnastics there… named team MVP in gymnastics in 2012.
