Business Administration/Pre-law major. . . daughter of Chris and Diana Harris, Liverpool, N.Y. . . returning for her third season, Harris started 36 games in 2008, splitting time between pitcher and third base. . . posted a .257 batting average with 28 hits, 12 runs and 17 RBIs. . . went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in a win over St. John Fisher 4/13/08. . . started 13 games as a pitcher and earned eight wins with a 3.87 ERA, three shutouts and 54 strikeouts . . . named Empire 8 Pitcher of the Week for 3/24/08. . . recognized as Honorable Mention Empire 8 All-Conference. . .  2007: started all 36 games and finished second on the team with a .309 batting average . . . also contributed 30 hits and a team-best 12 doubles. . . 18 starts came on the pitcher’s mound where she delivered four victories, including one shutout, and 57 strikeouts. . . had a school-record four hits in a victory over Hilbert 4/2/07. . . had 11 strikeouts as a pitcher at D’Youville 4/11/07 . . . competed for the Golden Flyers’ volleyball team in fall 2007 . . Scholastic: a graduate of Liverpool High School, Harris transferred from Saint Peter’s College where she played regularly in 2006 …was a standout pitcher in high school where she held a record of over 100 strikeouts as a freshman…received second-team Onondaga League all-star honors during junior and senior seasons …helped team to Section Three championship in 2005… also a standout in field hockey and volleyball, earning all-league honors in each. . . competed in Empire State Games for volleyball in 2005 and helped Central Region team to silver medal. . . an honor roll student in high school.
