Nazareth College Athletics

Business Administration major with minors in Spanish and Literature... born 3/30/93... son of Rob and Erin Cord, Loomis, Calif... returning for his fourth season with the Golden Flyers,  Cord appeared in 24 of Nazareth’s 25 matches and 70 sets in 2014… was fourth on the team in kills and service aces with 96 and 15 respectively… Cord had a season-high 11 kills against Thiel on 2/1/14 and three aces against D’Youville on 1/29/14… also tallied 39 digs and 23 total blocks.

2013: Cord appeared in 34 matches and 80 sets for the Golden Flyers… amassed 134 kills with 20 service aces and 19 blocks… hit .583 (8-1-12) in a four-set win over Ramapo on 3/23/13 and .583 (9-2-12) in a three-set sweep of Vassar in the UVC Tournament on 4/13/13… had 24 kills overall in three UVC Tournament matches to help Nazareth claim the team title… earned UVC all-tournament honors.
 
2012: appeared in 34 of Nazareth's 36 matches and 106 sets overall... delivered 200 kills for a .234 hitting percentage... also had 25 service aces, 71 digs and 40 blocks... reached double digits in kills in eight matches, including a career-best 14 kills in a four-set loss to Stevens on 3/11/12...

Scholastic: a graduate of Del Oro High School in California, Cord was a three-year starter on the volleyball team there... served as team captain and was twice named team MVP… Cord is a Dean’s List student and Presidential Scholarship recipient at Nazareth.
