Information Technology major... born 9/22/92... son of Rich and Carol VanOrden, Brewerton, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, VanOrden was steady for the Golden Flyers in 2013 as a long-stick midfielder... appeared in all 20 games and ranked third on the team with 52 ground balls and second with 23 caused turnovers... also contributed one goal and one assist... scored in Nazareth's 14-8 regular-season win over Utica on 3/27/13... earned honorable mention Empire 8 Conference all-star honors.
2012: VanOrden transitioned to long-stick midfielder as he appeared in 10 games and had one goal and two assists with 19 ground balls... lone goal was a game-winner late in the fourth quarter of a 9-8 victory over St. John Fisher on 4/25/12.
2011: played in 13 games for Nazareth in 2011 and contributed three goals and one assist... had three points on two goals, one assist in a win over Utica on 4/6/11... also scored vs. Hartwick on 4/9/11.
Scholastic: a graduate of P.V. Moore High School in Central Square, VanOrden excelled in soccer, hockey and lacrosse there... earned second-team Central New York all-star honors in both soccer and lacrosse as a senior.
