Political Science major. . . daughter of James and Catherine Baranello, Homer, N.Y. . . team captain. . . returning for her fourth season, Baranello appeared in 12 games for Nazareth in 2007. . .  recorded one goal (4/7/07) in a victory over E8 conference rival Ithaca. . . 2006: Baranello played in 10 games for the Golden Flyers and netted her first career goal in Nazareth’s season-opening win at Wesley 3/12/06. . . 2005: appeared in nine games and had six ground balls. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Homer Central, Baranello played soccer and lacrosse there. . . earned first-team Onondaga League all-star honors as a defender in lacrosse. . . served as team captain in soccer and lacrosse. . . three-time recipient of scholar-athlete award. . . president of Class of ‘04 and a member of National Honor Society.
