Anthropology and History major… born 07/01/94… daughter of John and Barbara Gettys, Newburgh, N.Y… returning for her second season, Gettys appeared in 19 games, including eight as a starter, for the Golden Flyers in 2012 and finished tied for the team lead with five assists… assisted on a game-winning overtime goal by Olivia Derleth in a 2-1 win over St. Lawrence… also assisted on game-winning goals in 1-0 wins over RIT and Hartwick… named as an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team…

Scholastic: a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Gettys played soccer and lacrosse there… played four seasons of varsity soccer and served as team captain and was recipient of team leadership award… a five-time selection to the New York State regional Olympic Development Program team… a high honor roll student, Gettys was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars… recipient of the AP Macros Economics Award.
