Nazareth College Athletics

Business Administration major... son of Mark and Mary Fanning, Buchanan, N.Y... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Fanning appeared in 11 games for the Golden Flyers in 2014 and contributed as a midfielder with five goals and three assists... had one goal and one assist in a 16-11 win over Hamilton on 3/5/14 and in a 12-9 loss to Cortland on 4/16/14.

2013: played in all 20 games for the Golden Flyers and contributed 16 points on eight goals and eight assists... had three goals in Nazareth's 25-4 romp over Castleton State in the NCAA playoffs on 5/8/13... also scored twice in wins over Utica on 3/27/13 and at Hartwick on 4/13/13... had three points on a goal and two assists in a 17-8 win over Stevens on 4/20/13.

2012: appeared in 16 games for the Golden Flyers and finished fourth on the team in scoring with 26 points on 21 goals and five assists... had a career-best five goals in a 19-7 win at Utica on 3/28/12... also scored three times each in games against RIT on 4/4/12, Hartwick on 4/14/12 and at Ithaca in the Empire 8 Tournament on 5/2/12.

Scholastic: a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School, Fanning played three seasons of varsity lacrosse there... served as team captain and selected team's offensive MVP for 2011... was a two-time all-league selection and a Section One all-star... four-time recipient of scholar-athlete award... also competed in football.
