2008: appeared in each of Nazareth's 21 games, including 11 as a starter...  tallied four goals and four assists to finish third on the team in scoring and first in the Empire 8 Conference among first-year players...  scored first goal against Alfred (9/17/08), scored two goals against Elmira (9/27/08) and tallied fourth goal of the season in a 2-1 victory over Stevens (10/12/08)...  earned Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year honors and all-conference honorable mention... 
Scholastic: a graduate of Homer High School, Benz played four seasons of varsity soccer there...  earned third-team all-state and first team Onondaga League all-star honors for 2007...  also selected team MVP and first-team all-Central New York...  helped team to league titles in 2006 and 2007 and a Section Three championship in '06...  also earned all-league honors for lacrosse...  named Homer's Female Athlete of the Year for '07-08.
