Physical Therapy major ...born 11/19/92 ... daughter of John and Mary Heitzhaus, Buffalo, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Heitzhaus ran in eight meets for Nazareth during the 2012 campaign… placed 54th at the 6-kilometer NYSCTC meet with a time of 25:14, finished 19th at the 3.04-mile Empire 8 meet at Saratoga with a time of 19:23, and finished the season with a 96th-place finish at the 6-kilometer NCAA Atlantic Regional meet with a time of 24:04… Heitzhaus is also a member of the Golden Flyers’ track and field teams… at the Indoor Empire 8 meet, Heitzhaus placed sixth in the 800-meter run (2:27.83) and was a member of Nazareth’s 4 x 800-meter relay team that shattered the school record with a time of 9:39.39 at the ECAC Indoor meet… at the Empire 8 outdoor meet, Heitzhaus placed fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.82… was also a member of the 4 x 800-meter team that set the school record with a time of 9:37.73 at the NYSCTC outdoor meet…

2011: ran regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2011… placed 32nd in the Empire 8 Conference meet with a time of 20:35 over 3 miles at Saratoga Park… competed for the Golden Flyers’ track and field teams, finishing seventh in the 800- and sixth in the 1,500-meter runs at the Empire 8 Outdoor meet… finished 15th in the 800 in 2:25.97 at the NYSCTC Outdoor meet…

2010: Heitzhaus competed in five meets… placed 27th (19:08—4.2 km) in her first meet at Colgate and finished 14th (17:30—4 km) at Nazareth’s Invitational ...

Scholastic: a graduate of Nardin Academy, Heitzhaus competed in track and field and cross country... earned All-Catholic first-team honors in 2009 for cross country and second team honors in 2006 and 2008...also earned All-Catholic honors in the 1,500- and 3,000-meter runs in track and field...recipient of Unsung Hero Award in '08... recipient of Buffalo Scholar Athlete Award.
