Biography
Psychology major… born 9/11/91… daughter of Eric Niebuhr, Sauquoit, N.Y… returning for her third season, Niebuhr won NYSCTC championship in the high jump and set Nazareth’s school record with a leap of 5’ 4 ¼” (1.63 meters) at St. Lawrence (2/25/11) during the 2011 indoor season … during the outdoor season, Niebuhr exceeded her previous outdoor school record with a mark of 5’ 3” (1.60 meters) at the Muehlenberg Invitational (4/2/11) …
Scholastic: a graduate of Sauquoit Valley Central, Niebuhr competed on the varsity track and field team for five seasons and the varsity volleyball team for three seasons… helped track team to five Section Three titles… a two-time Center State Conference all-star and conference champion in the high jump… earned scholar-athlete honors five times… also involved in community service for Upstate Cerebral Palsy.
