Business Administration major... born 04/24/90... son of Nick and Gay Sampson, Yarmouth, Maine... returning for his fourth season, Sampson started regularly as a close defender in 2011 and scored his first two career goals to go with 35 ground balls... scored to ignite a 13-9 come-from-behind win at Alfred on 3/30/11 and vs. Utica on 4/6/11...
2010: played in 16 games in 2010 and scooped up 17 ground balls...
2009: played regularly for the Golden Flyers, appearing in 13 games and collecting seven ground balls...
Scholastic: a graduate of Yarmouth High School, Sampson played four seasons of lacrosse there... earned first-team all-conference honors as a defenseman in 2008 and second-team honors in 2006 and 2007... also named honorable mention all-state in '07... helped team to state titles in 2006 and 2008... also competed in soccer and basketball... helped soccer team to state title in 2005.
