Biology major . . . born 4/09/92 . . . daughter of Dennis Piechowiak & Carol Piechowiak, Darien Center, N.Y. . . a 2010 graduate of Attica High School, Piechowiak participated in five years of varsity cross country and track and field . . . a three-time region all-star in cross country and two-time region all-star in track and field, four-time state representative in cross country, received the 2009 cross country sportsmanship award . . . won a Section V-Class C cross country race, a member of the 4x800m relay county championship team in 2010, she was also the 2008 county champion for steeplechase . . . recipient of a Nazareth Presidential Scholarship, the James Seiferth Memorial Award, the S.P.O.R.T.S Booster Award, the American Legion Band Award, and the N.Y.S.C.O.B.A Scholarship. . .Piechowiak was also a five-time recipient of the scholar athlete award.
