Nursing major. . . born 4/5/89. . . daughter of Bob and Jen Stanchus, Rochester, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, placed 75th at the 2009 NYSCTC women's cross country championships (21:53.75) , 27th at the Golden Flyer Invitational (18:09.29),  118th at the Western Ontario International (22:10.9) . . . 2008: Stanchus continued to be one of the Golden Flyers' top runners during the 2008 season. . . placed 31st at the Colgate 4.2-K Invitational (19:56), 88th at the Western Ontario 5-K Invitational (21:54), 146th at the 6-K Pre-Nationals Invitational (27:47.68), 20th at the Nazareth Short Course Invitational (16:59), 107th at the Saratoga 5-K Invitational (20:23), 65th at the 5-K NYSCTC championships (21:50.6), and 148th at the 6-K Atlantic Regionals (27:10). . . 2007: Stanchus had a solid freshman season for the Golden Flyers as she placed 25th at the Brockport 5-K Challenge (21:36), 21st at the Utica 5-K Invitational (22:16), 11th at Nazareth's 4-K Invitational (17:07) and 54th at the Empire 8 Championship meet (21:09). . .also ran for Nazareth's track and field team. . . finished 22nd in the 1,000-meter run at Cornell (3:37) during the  indoor season. . . Scholastic:  a graduate of Greece Arcadia High School, Stanchus competed on the varsity cross country team for two seasons...received Most Improved Runner award and was a member of National Honor Society.
