Physical Therapy major. . . born 5/24/91... son of Philip and Sally Strough, Syracuse, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Strough ran regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2011… finished 40th for 8 kilometers (28:47) at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Saratoga… placed 205th overall on an 8,000-meter course (29:11) at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet in Canton, N.Y… competed for the Golden Flyers’ track and field teams last spring and finished 16th in the 5,000-meter run (17:46.44) at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships…

2010: competed in seven of Nazareth’s meets and finished 46th (21:56—6 km) at the Hamilton meet, 48th (29:27—8 km) at Roberts Wesleyan and 19th (23:16—6 km) at the Nazareth Invitational... also represented the Golden Flyers at the NYSCTC meet, where he finished 85th (30:44—8 km) and the NCAA Atlantic Regionals, where he placed 236th (30:49—8 km)...

2009: Strough placed 81st at the NYSCTC meet (29:59:52) and 104th in the 2009 Empire 8 Championship (30:00:33)...

Scholastic: a graduate of Westhill High School, Strough was a member of the varsity cross country team for three seasons...earned the Sportsmanship Award and was named a second-team OHSL all-star...helped team to three consecutive Section Three Class B championships... also competed in tennis and track.
