History major with Education certification. . . born 9/26/89. . . son of Malcolm and Karen Fekete, Syracuse, N.Y. . . returning for his third season . . . placed 37th at the NYSCTC Championship (27:50.52), 16th overall (27:37) at the Empire 8 Championship, 125th place (27:54.1) at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional meet . . . also ran fifth at the Nazareth Invitational (18:50.71). . . also a member of the Golden Flyers' track and field team. . .
2008-2009: Fekete had a solid freshman season as one of Nazareth's top runners. . . finished 49th (29:29) at the Buffalo State Invitational, placed 70th at the Western Ontario 10-K Invitational (38:22), 153rd at the Pre-National meet (28:58), 14th at Nazareth's 6-K Invitational (22:15), 68th at the 8-K NYSCTC championship meet (30:44), and 140th at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (29:00). . . received the Coaches' Award following the indoor track and field season. . . finished ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Muhlenberg (10:37) and 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in the Empire 8 Conference championships (10:25). . . placed 10th in the 10-K run at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational (34:29), 13th in the 5-K run at the Empire 8 Championship meet (16:46), and 21st in the 10-K run at the NYSCTC championship meet (34:19). . . 
Scholastic: a graduate of Henninger High School, Fekete was a member of the cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams for four seasons. . . Fekete earned team MVP honors three times during his four years on the cross country team.
