Scholastic: a graduate of Sweet Home High School, Miranda competed in volleyball as well as indoor and outdoor track . . . earned team MVP honors and second-team Erie County Interscholastic Conference all-star honors in volleyball for 2008 . . . served as team captain in all three sports. . . helped Western New York Team to a gold medal in the Empire State Games in 2008 . . . competed for five seasons on the Power Station Volleyball Club.
