Psychology major. . . born 9/8/91. . . daughter of Joseph and Patricia Mash, Grand Island, N.Y. . . returning for her second track and field season, Mash competed regularly as a distance runner for the Golden Flyers in 2010. . . finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NYSCTC Outdoor meet last spring. . . competed for the Golden Flyers' cross country team the last two seasons and placed 97th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet in Oneonta in November. . . competed during the indoor season adn finished 16th in the mile at the Empire 8 Conference meet and eighth in the 800-meter run at the NYSCTC indoor meet. . .
Scholastic: a graduate of Grand Island High School, Mash was a member of the tennis and track and field teams. . . earned several individual awards including: first-team all-Niagara Frontier League honors, Most Improved, Sportsmanship Award, and Coaches’ Award. . . also received the Elmira College Key and Pride of the Island awards. . . a high honor roll student.
