Van Thof transferred to Nazareth after playing soccer at Monroe Community College. . . earned Region III all-star honors and led all defenders in points scored at MCC. . . helped the Tribunes to the NJCAA Division 1, Region III Championship and the Division 1 NJCAA District Tournament Finals. . . helped MCC to its highest rank in school history (ranked seventh in the Division 1 NJCAA) . . . a graduate of Fairport High School, Van Thof earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors, was an all-Greater Rochester selection and was a starter in the Section Five all-star game. . .  helped Fairport to a #6 national ranking by the NSCAA and a #1 ranking in New York State. . . the Red Raiders won back-to-back Monroe County League Championships and were back-to-back Section Five Class AAA finalists. . . also played for Junior Rhinos, Rochester Futbol Club, and Fairport Soccer Club.
