William Smith opened the scoring 1:39 into the game and added four more goals during the opening quarter to take a 5-0 lead after 15 minutes

Nazareth settled in defensively during the second quarter and held William Smith off the scoreboard. Kristina Fisher recorded a defensive save at 23:47 before creating Nazareth's best offensive opportunity late in the quarter

Fisher put a shot on goal at 29:52, followed by a blocked shot from Abigail Roth five seconds later

William Smith scored its final goal with three seconds remaining in the third quarter to extend the lead to 6-0
