Box Score GENEVA, NY - The Nazareth Women's Tennis team closed out the 2025-26 season as they fell to William Smith College, 7-0 on Thursday evening. The Golden Flyers finish with a record of 8-7 overall and 5-3 in Empire 8 play. 
 
How It Happened:

• William Smith earned a 1-0 advantage after sweeping the doubles portion of the match. Nazareth's top pairing of McKenna Ellis and Catherine Zak stayed within striking distance but dropped their match, 6-3.
• The Golden Flyers looked to rebound in the singles matches but the Herons continued their strong play, taking the No.2 through No.6 matches handily to clinch the match. 
• Catherine Zak put together an impressive rebound in the No. 1 singles match. After dropping the first set 6-2, she responded with a strong 6-4 win in the second to force a tiebreak, where she ultimately came up short.
