ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth men's volleyball squad dropped three set match to Trine on Friday at Kidera Gymnasium by a score of 25-23, 25-17, 30-28. Nazareth is now 7-6 overall, while Trine moves to 6-6.
How it Happened:
- Nazareth led for most of the first, however Trine scored the final five points of the set to win, 25-23.
- The Golden Flyers also led 12-10 in the second set but the Thunder seized control by scoring five-straight.
- The third set was action-packed – Nazareth staved on three match points, while Trine fought off two for the Golden Flyers.
Game Notes:
- Nazareth hit .163 for the game with 39 kills on 123 attempts with 19 errors.
- AJ Burda had a double-double with 10 kills and 19 assists. He hit .346 in the match.
- Gavin Sweet led Nazareth with 13 digs.
- Quintin Chiles produced five kills and five digs.
