ROCHESTER, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Field Hockey (3-3) tied the game in the final seconds of regulation but dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to unbeaten Marian (Wisc.) (6-0) Sunday afternoon at NLPA Field. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Both Nazareth and Marian played to a scoreless first half with senior Lauren Bachner registering six saves in goal 
• The Sabres struck first, netting a goal late in the third quarter to take a 1-0 lead 
• Freshman Kristina Fisher tied the game with just one second left in regulation, converting on a corner penalty pass from Audra Mieczkowski, to send the Golden Flyers into overtime 
• Marian recorded the golden goal on a penalty corner six minutes into overtime to earn the 2-1 victor

GAME NOTES 

• The Golden Flyers fall to 1-2 in overtime games this season 
• Kristina Fisher registered her second collegiate goal to send the contest into extra time
• Audra Mieczkowski recorded her second assist of the season on Fisher's score, her second consecutive game with at least one point 
• Lauren Bachner tallied ten saves in goal, her third double-digit performance of the season
