ITHACA, NY - Nazareth rowing competed at Ithaca College on Saturday morning. The two teams competed in a varsity and a novice race, Nazareth taking the title for the varsity competition and Ithaca winning novice.

In the varsity 1v4 race was Madelynn Racaniello, Morgan Springer, Madelyn Collier, Lauren Ogden and Jennifer Beaver as the coxswain. The team combined for a time of 8:48.52, beating Ithaca by about seven seconds, who finished with a time of 8:55.65.

The team for the novice 4 consisted of Abigail Engler, Katherine Wilburn, Emily Hughes, an Ithaca rower, and Isabella Valenta as the coxswain. The five fell short of the victory by about nine seconds, combining for a time of 9:00.78 behind Ithaca's 8:51.26.
