WILLIAMSBURG, VA – The Nazareth women's golf squad completed the second round of the Ruckus Tournament at National Golf Club, maintaining fifth place. The Golden Flyers finished with a two-day score of 727 (+1151).
After shooting a 363 on day 1, Nazareth came back to shoot a 364 on Sunday.
York won with a two-day score of 625 (+49), followed by Bowdoin at 643 (+67), Drew at 646 (+70), Sweet Briar at 690 (+114), Nazareth at 727 (+151), Hartford at 757 (+181), Arcadia at 762 (+186), Shenandoah at 762 (+186) and Penn State Altoona at 928 (+352).
Kayla Ringler launched an 83 (+11) on Sunday, an improvement of four strokes from Saturday to finish with a two-day total of 170 (+26) for 15
th place.
Ava Malvaso and
Bethany Wineburg each improved their first round scores of 88, to 87s (+15) to finish at 175 (+31) which was good for a tie for 18
th place.
Kara Kopyt was the final scorer with a two-day total of 207 (+63) which put her in a tie for 38
th place.
Grace Colangelo shot a 218 (+74) and
Sabrina Schultz a 254 (+110).
Nazareth returns to action April 5 for the Susquehanna Invite on April 5.
