Rochester, N.Y. – The Nazareth women's swim and dive team visited RIT to compete in the Don Richards Invitational, where they sit in 3rd place with 139 total points after day one. They're battling with Clarkson University, who are one spot behind the Golden Flyers with only two fewer points. Skidmore College lead the Invitational with 271 points.
How It Happened
● Nazareth's 200 yard freestyle relay team of Ellen Burroughs (Jr), Alexis Eisler (So), Emily LeFrois-Heath (Sr), and Ava Tyler (Fr) took 3rd in their event, adding valuable points to the Golden Flyers' total. They finished with a time of 1:41.34.
● Also putting on a strong performance was the 400-yard medley relay team, who finished in 3rd place with a time of 4:09.88. It was composed of Burroughs, Peyton Buell (Sr), Emily Lefrois-Heath, and Alexis Eisler.
● LeFrois-Heath had another impressive performance in the 200-yard IM, finishing 4th with a time of 2:15.65. Taking 9th (2:19.17) and 27th (2:40.41) place respectively in the same event were Buell and Anne Marie Kurtz (Jr).
● Two more Golden Flyer top-10 finishes were seen coming from Burroughs in the 500 yard freestyle, and Eisler in the 50 yard freestyle.

The Golden Flyers women's swim and dive team will return to the pool on Saturday, December 6th for day two of the RIT Don Richards Invitational.
