MORRISVILLE, NY - A dominant second period propelled Nazareth to their third win of the season on Friday night. The Golden Flyers stay undefeated and aim to keep that streak alive against Cortland tomorrow night.

How It Happened:

• Just over nine minutes into the first period, Brooke Judkiewicz got Nazareth on the board first, scoring a power play goal off a rebound. The assist came from Ella Konrad, who fired a low point shot.

• Nazareth carried play in the first, outshooting Morrisville 14-8 in the first period.

• Early into the 2nd frame, Meredith Boettcher scored to give Nazareth a 2-0 lead. The assists came from Brooke Judkiewicz and Amy Laskowski.

• Six minutes later, Logan Marchese would record her first collegiate goal. Scoring from behind the net where she banked it in off the goalies back.

• The second period was all Nazareth, as they overwhelmed Morrisville with a 14-1 shot advantage and stretched their lead to 3–0.

• Just 30 seconds into the 3rd period, Allie Zack would make it 4-0 Golden Flyers with a beautiful shot from the top of the circle. 

• Shortly after, Morrisville would score a breakaway goal and make it a 4-1 game. 

• With 4 minutes to play, Meredith Boettcher scored her 2nd goal of the game. The assist came from Logan Marchese. 

• The shots finished with Nazareth leading by a large margin, 41-12.
