ALBANY, NY - The Golden Flyers came out strong in the first quarter. Hannah Jane's goal, assisted by Michaela Cushman, set the tone for their 4-0 shutout against Russell Sage. Michaela Cushman had an impressive performance with 2 goals and one assist. Nazareth improved 8-4 overall, while Russell Sage dropped 4-8. 

How it Happened: 

• Within the first 3 minutes, Michaela Cushman carries past defenders to cross to Hannah Janes for the first goal.

• Off an inbound play, Cushman finds the bottom left of the goal. 

• 8 minutes into the 2nd quarter, Cushman splits the defenders, guiding the goalie out of the net before scoring her 2nd goal of the game. 

• 30 seconds left in the half, Audra Mieczkowski scores the fourth goal for the Golden Flyers. 

• Lauren Bachner saved 5/5 shots on goal.

• Nazareth finished the game with 15 shots on goal compared to the 5 Sage had. 

• Cushman had the only assist of the game. 

Game Notes: 

• It was Jane's seventh goal of the season, following her goal against Utica. 

•  Cushman's 2 goals put her at 10 on the season.
