KEUKA, NY- Tatum Overton and Alice O'Connor helped guide the Golden Flyers to their first Empire 8 Conference conference win, downing  Keuka College 3-1 on Friday night at Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

Nazareth is now 4-2-2 overall and 1-0-2 in Empire 8 play, while Keuka is 1-7 and 0-3, respectively.

Keuka scored the first goal of the game in the 16th minute.

Overton made a phenomenal move to tie up the game in the 32nd minute with a low driven ball to the left corner. 

Nazareth was awarded a penalty kick in the 43rd minute and O'Connor converted for her first goal of the season to give the visitors a 2-1 lead.

Goalie Annika Monfort, had a stellar save in the 58th minute of the game. She finished with five saves.

Overton notched her second goal of the game in the 78th minute top push Nazareth's lead to 3-1. Overton is currently the leading goal scorer for the Golden Flyers, racking up five goals this season.

The Golden Flyers outshot the wolves 17-6.

Nazareth returns to action Tuesday at 7 p.m., traveling to the Rochester Institute of Technology for a non-conference game.
