ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth women's soccer team advanced to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament in 1999 after downing William Smith 2-0 in regionals.

Nazareth scored both goals in the second half, the first from Melissa Kehoskie and the other from Stephanie Nardini.

The Golden Flyers knocked off Oneonta 1-0 in two overtimes in their first round game. Nazareth's tournament came to an end in the quarterfinals with a 2-0 loss to Williams.
