Ella Impaglia took 7
th place in the 4k with a PR of 15:04.8, improving her previous best (15:45.7) that she set just last week to lead the Nazareth University women's cross country team to fourth-place in the Hamilton Short Course Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Flyers were to top finishing Empire 8 school. Hamilton was first with 30 points, followed by Rochester with 68 points, St. Lawrence with 74, Nazareth with 117, Utica (119), St. John Fisher (154), Houghton (161), and Keuka (258).
Sophomore
Kelsey Fahy improved her time in the 4k from last week (16:05.8) with a PR of 15:23.6 for 13
th place. She was followed Megan Moyer in 28
th place (15:52.4).
Classmate
Bailey Visingard put in a PR of 16:05.6 (16:09.0) for 38
th place. Senior
Paige Ackley, ran a 16:21.2 to set a PR for the first time in three years in the 4k (16:54.2), good for 46
th place.
Kennedy Doran managed to PR with a 16:50.6 (17:26.5).
Freshmen
Alia Graziadei and
Nadia Dudley both improved on their times from last week, as Graziedei ran a 17:20.6 (18:20.0) and Dudley finished with a 18:45.4 (19:24.6).
Morgan Pospiech finished with a 17:06.7 for 61
st place.
The Golden Flyers have a couple weeks off before competing in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan.
